If you've never used a mobile detailer, the idea can feel abstract — so here's exactly how it works with Choice Auto Spa, from booking to the walkaround at the end.
Step 1: Book
Pick a package and a time on our online booking page, or call/text (423) 466-6598. Tell us the vehicle, its condition (be honest — we've seen everything), and where it'll be parked. We serve the whole greater Chattanooga area from our Collegedale base.
Step 2: We Arrive and Set Up
We show up with everything: professional-grade chemicals, machine polishers, extraction equipment, towels, brushes — the full shop, minus the building. All we need on-site is access to a water spigot and a power outlet, plus enough room to open the doors and work around the car. A normal driveway or a workplace parking spot is perfect.
Step 3: The Detail
A standard full detail runs 2–4 hours depending on size and condition. Exteriors get a hand wash, clay bar decontamination, wheel and tire care, sealant, and glass. Interiors get a full vacuum and blow-out, carpet and mat shampoo, leather conditioning, and trim detailing. Paint correction and ceramic coating appointments run longer — correction work is done in careful stages.
Step 4: The Walkaround
When we're done, we walk the vehicle with you (or send photos if you're away). If anything isn't right, we fix it — that's the guarantee.
Why People Switch to Mobile
The service quality matches a good fixed shop — the difference is your time. No drop-off, no shuttle, no waiting room coffee. Your car gets detailed while you work, cook, or nap. More on that in why customers choose mobile detailing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be home during the detail?
Not necessarily. Many customers hand off keys and go about their day — we just need access to the vehicle, water, and power, and a way to reach you.
What if it rains?
We watch the forecast and will reach out to reschedule if weather makes quality work impossible. Covered driveways and garages usually let us work rain or shine.
Do you need my water and electricity?
In most cases yes — a standard outdoor spigot and outlet are all we need. If your location doesn't have them, tell us when booking and we'll plan around it.
